The Sherrice Iverson Case: Arcade Bathroom Nightmare
Her father gambled while she was being cornered in a bathroom.

On May 25th, 1997, Sherrice Iverson (7) was visiting the Primadonna Resort and Casino with her brother (14) and father, Leroy. She happily roamed around the outside of the casino under the supervision of her older brother while her father gambled and drank inside of the casino. Security guards tried to return the children to Leroy multiple times, but the father was consumed in the excitement from the machines. The brother-sister duo continued to wander off and find their own entertainment.
Sherrice ended up venturing off into the arcade area of the hotel. At this point, she lost sight of her older brother and was completely unmonitored. The little girl weaved her way around the colorful game machines when suddenly two boys, Jeremy Strohmeyer (18) and David Cash, Jr. (17) noticed her walking around. The boys had been taken to the hotel and accompanied by David’s father, but also split apart from him for a while.
