Lauren Johansen (22) grew up watching her father, Robert, being a surgeon and saving the lives of vulnerable individuals. When it came time for college, Lauren immediately knew the path that fit most for her would be nursing. She thrived throughout her classes and also took on a job at a local make up store helping women enhance their natural beauty. In addition to dedicating her time to learning complex medical terms, as well as dabbing peoples’ faces with sponges soaked in foundation, she had a huge love for all of her rescue animals; a dog, cat, and even a horse that she truly would have allowed on rides in her Jeep if she fit.
